Charcoal Coloured Dry Play Sand
Product Description
Charcoal Coloured Play Sand
CREATIVE COLOURED SAND FOR ARTS & CRAFTS
Ignite your child's creativity with our vibrant play sand, perfect for crafting mesmerizing sand art! Ideal for filling bottles and creating stunning pictures, this tactile sand allows kids to explore textures and shapes while having fun. The striking charcoal hue is perfect for intricate rangoli patterns and contrasts beautifully with other colors, making it great for animal designs and geometric patterns.
FORGET DISCOLOURED CLOTHES AFTER PLAYTIME & CRAFTING
Say goodbye to ruined outfits! This non-toxic, non-staining sand is finer than traditional Builder's Sand. Carefully sourced and washed to eliminate residual iron oxide, it ensures no staining occurs. The sand is then cleaned, blended, coloured, and dried, resulting in a fine, soft texture that helps children improve their fine motor skills while they build and play. Use it in water and sand tables or in indoor and outdoor sand pits.
JUST ADD WATER TO MAKE SANDCASTLES
Bring the beach to your backyard! Transform this sand into playsand by simply adding 500ml of water for every 5kg, creating the perfect consistency for sculpting and molding. Kids can create a rainbow of colorful sandcastles with our range of sand colors, ensuring endless fun in sandpits—just remember to supervise young children during play!
GREAT FOR VIVARIUMS, TERRARIUMS & ANT FARMS
Thanks to its non-toxic properties, this coloured sand is also suitable for vivariums and terrariums. Choose a color that complements your pet or plants, as it's perfect for the bottom of tanks for ants, lizards, snakes, tortoises, and other reptiles who enjoy burrowing into sand for shelter. Always conduct research to ensure the sand is appropriate for your specific breed of pet.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What's the best compost for my flower bulbs?
We would recommend a compost that contains nutrients that last up to 6 months to promote strong, healthy roots, and often includes a wetting agent to improve water retention and drainage for a vibrant spring display.
Here's the perfect one: Click Here
How can I prevent my bulbs from rotting and ensure they bloom again?
Bulbs rot in wet soil! You must have light, well-drained soil. Work compost or organic matter 8-12 inches deep into the planting bed to ensure rapid drainage and aeration.
Plant most bulbs in full sun or part sun for the long-term energy recharge.
What is the most critical step for getting flowers next year after the current blooms fade?
Do not cut the foliage (leaves) after the flower dies. The green leaves need approximately 8 weeks to yellow and brown naturally. This post-bloom period is when the bulb recharges its energy (carbohydrates) for next year’s flower. Cutting them early causes bloom failure!
How deep should I plant my bulbs?
Plant bulbs roughly three times as deep as the bulb’s height (e.g., a 2-inch tall bulb should be planted 6 inches deep). This depth provides crucial thermal protection.
You'll find the exact specifications on the bulbs page/
Do you ship to Northern Ireland or the EU?
At present, we’re unable to ship to Northern Ireland due to post-Brexit regulations. The additional paperwork and costs involved would make it too expensive for customers.
We hope this situation will change in the near future.
