Select a sunny or semi-shaded location that receives at least three hours of sunlight daily, as these daffodils will not flourish in heavy shade.

For the best results, plant your bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards at a depth of about 10cm (4 inches). Deep planting is crucial to prevent the bulbs from dividing and producing smaller, non-flowering bulbs. Space them approximately two bulb-widths apart to allow for healthy growth. If you notice poor flowering, consider top-dressing the soil around your daffodils with a slow-release bulb fertilizer each spring; simply sprinkle it around the base of the leaves for nourishment.
